Private Swim Lessons

In addition to our group lesson program, we offer private and semi-private lessons for ages 5 and up. Unlike the group lessons that follow a set schedule, private lessons are done according to YOUR schedule. Coaches are devoted to your needs the entire session, rather than devoting their attention equally across all students.

How it works: First, contact one of our coaches and set up a schedule that works best for you! Once you’ve determined a date and time, register for the lesson on our registration site. Lessons are 30 minutes in duration and must be paid 24 hours before the scheduled lesson.

Coach Josh:
I love my job, and I love people. I have experience teaching infants, preschoolers, school-age children and adults. I’ve been instructing for two years. One thing I’ve learned is that each lesson brings a fresh and brand new experience.

Coach Audrie:
I have been competitively swimming for 15 years and have been coaching for 2 years. I love teaching a variety of ages of swimmers. While I can teach all levels of swimming, my strong suit is technical trainings. Swimming is my passion and I hope to introduce as many people into this amazing sport as I can.

Coach Taylor:
I am a student at Michigan State University studying psychology and cognitive science! I have been a certified water safety instructor for four years. I have taught both American Red Cross and Swim America platforms. I’ve been competitively swimming since I was 10 years old and played Varsity Water Polo in high school. I teach group lessons, private lessons, parent and child lessons and swimmers with special needs. I strive to make swim lessons fun, but also informative. My goal isn’t only to teach basic swimming skills, but also to use my lifeguard certification to teach how to be safe in and around the water.

Coach Alex:
I love the water and want to share that with others! I have been a swim coach and instructor for 6 years. I have also been a swimmer all my life, swimming in high school, club USA team, and in college. I enjoy working with all ages, and especially enjoy teaching technique. My favorite part about teaching swim lessons is how excited a child gets when they finally grasp a new skill.
