In addition to a fitness room that is open whenever the facility is, you can find a full range of group fitness classes at the Aquatic Center. HCAC offers flexible monthly packages on fitness programs. Drop-in rates are also available for all classes. True fitness needs to be from the foundation up! This class focuses on alignment of the structural elements of the body and includes strength and flexibility while improving balance and coordination.
Join Amy for yoga! Amy’s classes are align based classes designed for participants of all abilities. You learn more about the art of Yoga and develop your own skills.
A perfect class for those looking to make a splash by adding a low-impact, high-energy aquatic exercise to their fitness routine. There is less impact on your joints during an Aqua Zumba class so you can really let loose. Water creates natural resistance which means every step is more challenging and helps tone your muscles.
This class is designed to increase flexibility and muscle tone with some cardio conditioning. Deep and shall water areas will be used.
A combination of shallow and deep water exercise sets provide a great cardio workout. Emphasis is on raising the heart rate and maintaining a faster pace.
Deep Water Aerobics
Deep water provides maximum resistance for a great aerobic workout and is a perfect way to increase muscle tone, strength, and flexibility in a non-impact workout.
Exercises focused on balance, range of motion, core stability, posture and laughter. Great for people with arthritis, or joint
Our fitness room is filled with equipment and space to accommodate almost any workout need and is open during normal business hours. Some of its features include:

Fitness room age guidelines:
Ages 12-15: Need completed orientation, a parental consent form on file, and be accompanied by a parent in fitness room at all times. Use is limited to only aerobic equipment. Use of any weight machines or free weights in prohibited, even with adult supervision.
Ages 16-17: Need completed orientation and a parental consent form on file. Parental supervision is not required.

RSBWM enables people with Parkinson’s disease to fight their disease through a non-contact boxing style fitness program. Participants improve their quality of life, and sense of efficacy and self worth. Classes are taught by certified Rock Steady Boxing Coach, Amy.
