Here at HCAC we are committed to offering fitness classes and equipment to accommodate almost any workout need! Our Fitness Room is open during normal business hours. Access to the fitness room is available with a single visit admission as well as a membership. Some of its features include:
- Spin Bikes
- Recumbent Bikes
- Upright Bike
- Rowing Machine
- Machine Weights for Upper and Lower Body
- Free Weights (1-100 lbs)
- Open Space for Aerobic Exercise
- Stretching Area
Fitness room age guidelines:
Ages 12-15: Need completed orientation, a parental consent form on file, and be accompanied by a parent in fitness room at all times. Use is limited to only aerobic equipment. Use of any weight machines or free weights in prohibited, even with adult supervision.
Ages 16-17: Need completed orientation and a parental consent form on file. Parental supervision is not required.

In addition to a fitness room that is open whenever the facility is, you can find a full range of group fitness classes at the Aquatic Center. Fitness classes have unique schedules that change throughout the week. Dry Land Classes
True fitness needs to be from the foundation up! This class focuses on alignment of the structural elements of the body and includes strength and flexibility while improving balance and coordination.
Framework meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8:40am and Monday Evenings at 5:30pm.
Join Amy G for yoga! Amy’s classes are align based classes designed for participants of all abilities. You learn more about the art of Yoga and develop your own skills.
Yoga meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30am and 5:30pm
Starting June 10, join Megan for a total body workout through a combination of low-impact aerobics, functional strength training, balance and flexibility using a variety of equipment and body weight exercises.
Class will meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:00am-11:45am
Therapy Pool Classes
Exercises focused on balance, range of motion, core stability, posture and laughter. Great for people with arthritis, or joint problems.
-Water Works meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 12:00pm

Aqua Yoga is perfect for everyone. Beginners to advance yogis. It takes all of the principles and poses from a traditional yoga class and incorporates them into a warm aquatic environment. The support of the water gives beginners confidence to try challenging poses. The slight current naturally present in the water; challenges you whether you like it or not, attracting even a seasoned yogi. This class is relaxing, it's strengthening all while you're gaining flexibility and balance too.

Deep water provides maximum resistance for a great aerobic workout and is a perfect way to increase muscle tone, strength, and flexibility in a non-impact workout.
-Deep Water Aerobics meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30am.
This class is designed to increase flexibility and muscle tone with some cardio conditioning. Deep and shallow water areas will be used.
-Aqua Aerobics meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:00am
A combination of shallow and deep water exercise sets provide a great cardio workout. Emphasis is on raising the heart rate and maintaining a faster pace.
-Making Waves meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:35am
A perfect class for those looking to make a splash by adding a low-impact, high-energy aquatic exercise to their fitness routine. There is less impact on your joints during an Aqua Zumba class so you can really let loose. Water creates natural resistance which means every step is more challenging and helps tone your muscles.
-Aqua Zumba meets on Tuesdays at 9:30am
RSBWM enables people with Parkinson’s disease to fight their disease through a non-contact boxing style fitness program. Participants improve their quality of life, and sense of efficacy and self worth. Classes are taught by certified Rock Steady Boxing Coach, Amy.
